If your calling is to be a Lawyer then gaining entry into a Law School of repute should be the first step you embark upon. A Legal Profession is the most sought after one in our society where every way of life is affected in almost everything we do, for example buying a house, getting a job, making a will. A lawyer is very much a part of our daily grind, playing an important and diverse role in the society we live in Even the corporate arena looks up to lawyers with a reverence. They play an integral role in all domains of society.
Every Law School requires that you clear an entrance exam with good scores.
Common Law Aptitude Test (CLAT) conducted on 9th May 2010 just gave a new lease of life to aspiring lawyers.

Highlights:
- An evenly balanced paper with two sections bordering on above average and two sections bordering on average and holding the two was one easy section
- Questions on General Knowledge was a battle of wits with no clear solutions visible
- Questions on Legal Aptitude gave cold feet to many aspiring lawyers
- Breathing became easy with questions on General English
- Finally the questions on Mathematics raised the hopes of aspiring lawyers making the going easy.
Conclusion:
The just concluded CLAT 2010 saw many students of giving their best shot to gain entrance into the prestigious national law institutes across the country.
