Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi is one of the premier Management Institutes in the world.  MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (FULL TIME)
 Total Number of Seats

Total seats 166
Unreserved: General (70), Reserved: SC (21), ST (11), OBC (38). Supernumerary: PH (5), CW (7), FS (14).

 Eligibility Criteria

1.
Candidates applying for admission to the MBA full-time programme must have pursued at least a     3-year Bachelor's Degree programme after twelve years of formal schooling in any of the     following disciplines. The minimum requisite percentage of marks in different disciplines is as     follows: -

 Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences - 50%
 Sciences - 55%
 Mathematics or Statistics - 60%
 Medicine, Engineering or Technology - 60% / CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00

OR

Post Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks.

Relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility will be allowed only to candidates of the following categories (SC/ST/OBC/PH/CW)

Note: Candidates in the final year of Bachelor’s Degree/Post-Graduate Degree programme are eligible to apply and appear in the Entrance Test, irrespective of their percentage of scores obtained so far, as long as they expect to fulfill the eligibility criteria when their results are declared. (The candidates will have to provide their final result before 1st October 2010)

 Selection Procedure

Applications for admission to various programmes are invited through advertisements in major national newspapers in September/October every year. Application forms are distributed to interested candidates on payment of the application fees. The filled-in application forms are to be sent to the Administrative Officer, Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 for further processing. Eligible candidates are be called for a written test and/or an interview.

The eligible applicants will be called for a written test, and on the basis of their performance in the test, they will be called for an interview, an ex-tempore and a group discussion. The candidates will be required to produce their original certificates and mark-sheets at the time of the interview. The final list of candidates selected to the program will be announced after conducting all the interviews.

Fee Structure

The fee payable at the time of admission is Rs. 10, 450/-.




MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION - MANAGEMENT OF SERVICES (Full TIME)

General (31), Reserved: SC (10), ST (5), OBC (17). Supernumerary: PH (2), CW (3), FS (7)

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for admission to first year of the programme must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelors Degree Programme in any of the following disciplines.

The minimum requisite percentage of marks in different disciplines is as follows:

 Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences - 50%
 Sciences - 55%
 Mathematics or Statistics - 60%
 Medicine, Engineering or Technology - 60% / CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00

OR

Post Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks.

Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.

The final list of candidates selected for the programme will be announced after conclusion of all interviews.

Fee Structure

The MBA (MS) programme in the South Campus would have the same fee structure as that in vogue for MBA-FT in the North Campus (approved by the Academic Council and Executive Council).

At present, the Annual Fees for MBA programmes for FMS is around Rs.9,500 (Rupees Nine Thousand Five Hundred only) per year. As all the recent published surveys show, from the students point of view, the MBA programmes of FMS would continue to be the most cost- effective high- quality MBA education offered by any other University or Institutions of Asia.

  • The top recruiters of the process included Standard Chartered Bank, Citibank, Microsoft India, Hindustan Unilever Limited and TAS.

  • FMS managed to call several new recruiters this year which included firms as diverse as Barings PE, Wrigley’s, Larsen & Toubro Ltd. and E&Y Dubai.

  • A total of 31 new companies visited the campus from all the major domains. This included a good number of Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), providing a shift in the trend over the past years.

  • FMS continued its legacy of unmatched placements in the Marketing Sector with several FMCGs like Britannia and Wrigley’s recruiting only at FMS.
